Nielsen is conducting a research regarding teens that are always texting and according to their study, those teens that are always texting and on standard, they are sending out 3,339 texts a month, or six for each hour they are aware, an 8 percent jump from previous year.
Nielsen said that teenage girls are the largest part productive texters, sending an average of 4,050 for every month, whereas teenage boys ages 13 to 17 send 2,539 texts throughout the similar time period. In the 18 to 24 age group, the figure of texts drops to 1,630 for every month – or a “moderately insufficient” three texts per hour.
Nielsen studies the cell phone bills of 60,000 mobile subscribers and joined that with an investigation of 3,000 teens in order to arrive at its finale.
