Adobe has finally publicized their latest Flash Player 10.2 for smartphones that have Google Android mobile operating system after weeks of trials. The latest version assures full web experience with videos, games, apps and mobile web browsers. Bad thing is the major upgrade would only be applicable for Android 2.2 Froyo and Android 2.3 Gingerbread based gadgets.
The new Flash Player 10.2 will also feature Beta support for Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb since Adobe has paired up with Google.
Flash Player 10.2 latest feature include performance enhancements to take advantage of new hardware in the two Android 3.x tablets and also for the existing hardware in many Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices; strict incorporation with the new Android 3.x browser to treat Flash content as part of the Web, which could result to improved scrolling of web pages and other features; and automatic soft keyboard support to abridge text entry for rich mobile and multi-screen experiences.
The new Flash Player 10.2 rings confidence to Adobe that they could deliver better “embedded” in-browser experience, which also has improvements for the playback of 720p HD videos. The General Availability version of Flash Player 10.2 for Google Android 3.0.1 and higher tablets is expected to be released in coming weeks.
