Apple Hands out Mountain Lion to Developers and will Release this Month

For the OS X fans, the Mountain Lion is on the final testing stage and will be out soon!

Apple handed out the same version of the Mountain Lion to developers that will be rolled out in the market this month.

The Mountain Lion is the 8th version of the OS X, it is a follow up of last years Lion OS. The Cupertino, California-based company first introduced the software in Febuary with a demo and followed up with a couple of testing versions that fixed bugs and problems and added some new features.

A couple of things to the new OS, it will have a reminder and notes app, it will also have a Twitter integration feature, iMessage, and the Game Center. A security feature labeled as Gatekeeper will also be in the new OS, this will be useful for the users because it will help you decide whether to install or not install apps which might contain malwares.

The Mountain Lion OS will be free for those who buy a new Mac, but for those who don’t, it will cost $20.

There is no exact date announced or reported for this to happen. Apple might follow last years’ release time table and will again surprise everyone so watch out.
