AT&T Inc. recently stated it will certainly launch five fresh smartphones which include Google Inc.’s Android operating system.
New gadgets include Pantech Curitel’s Pantech Pocket, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s Captivate Glide and Doubletime, Motorola Mobility Inc.’s Atrix 2, and ZTE Corp.’s AT&T Avail.
The Atrix 2 includes a front-facing camera, 8MP camera having 1080p HD video capture, 1GB RAM, 1Ghz Dual-Core CPU, 4.3-inch qHD display, HSPA+ 21Mbps functionality, Lapdock 100 connectivity and Android 2.3.
The Samsung Captivate Glide includes a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 8MP camera having 1080p video capture, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1Ghz Dual-Core Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and Android 2.3.
The Samsung Doubletime includes a 3.2MP camera, digital camera and camcorder functionality, 3.2-inch 320 x 480 display and 600Mhz CPU
The Pantech Pocket includes a 5MP camera along with flash and High-definition recording, 4-inch SVGA display, and 4G support.
Lastly, the AT&T Avail is a pre-paid gadget which will include a 5MP camera, 3.5-inch touch-screen display and Android 2.3.
AT&T at present holds 96 million customers in the U.S.
