Delay of NASA’s Endeavour Launch, Caused by Scheduling Conflict

According to a report, the extremely publicized ultimate task of the space shuttle Endeavor has been suspended for a minimum of ten days because of a scheduling conflict.

The craft was because of the April 19 explosion for a two-week mission that will consist of space walks and a docking with the International Space Station.

However, a scheduling difference connecting a Russian resupply craft has required NASA to move back the launch, perhaps to April 29, stated by anonymous sources quoted.

The source said the computerized Russian craft which was to open a few days following the Endeavour, cannot dock with the International Space Station while the American shuttle is nearby. It is uncertain from the information why the Russian open could not be postponed.

The Endeavour flight is to be controlled by a veteran astronaut and the husband of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Captain Mark Kelly, who is presently getting better in a Houston hospital from a shooting challenge in January.

It will be the second to last task for space shuttle program of NASA, which is suitable for leaving in 2011.
