After almost five months of shipping iOS 6 of Apple, a jailbreak is now available for the company’s OS. It’s nothing like from its predecessor, the Evasi0n iOS 6 jailbreak tool functions on Mac OS X, Windows, as wells Linux.
The launch of Evasi0n has been greatly waited for by iPhone 5 users as well as owners of the fourth generation iPad, which has the iOS 6 operating system by default. For these owners, the release of the jailbreak tool implies that they can have the upgrade to iOS 6 without missing the capacity on downloading unlicensed applications and modify the feel and look of their iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.
Just like any other iOS jailbreaks, the release of the new jailbreak tool came with its fair shot of technical issues. The reason for this is because the demand is very high that the system tends to crash servers and result to performance difficulties on the hosting site. With regard to this case, the team that built it up concluded to use Google Sites which has a page view limit.
Even if the release took longer than iPhone users want it to be, the jailbreak for iOS 6 has just been released at approximately the same time as the Absinthe A5 jailbreak for iOS 5 last 2012.
It was in December 2011, a jailbreak tool for iOS 5 was released by Pod2G, but it did not include gadgets with A5 chips such as iPad 2 and iPhone 4s.
The Evasi0n jailbreak tool was in fact in progress as of the previous week, but the team did not feel like to plug it earlier to the release of iOS 6.1 of Apple.
