There is still high demand for the 5.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note regardless of some concerns about its massive size. It proved that there are bigger opportunities in the world of smartphones. With this result, Samsung is anticipated to launch a new and improved Galaxy Note 2, even larger than the original, on the 29th of August in Berlin.
The company never mentioned Galaxy Note 2 as the name of their new product as they introduced a video teaser for the new smartphone. The teaser highlighted the artistic possibilities unlocked by the S Pen stylus of the phone.
According to reports, the new Galaxy Note 2 will be a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, having an HD resolution, which is comparable to the original. Additional feature include an upgrade to a quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, similar to the one in Samsung Galaxy S III, paired with an ARM Mail-400 GPU. This is said to be the key factor for the smartphone’s boost when it is launched.
Furthermore, the new product is speculated to have almost the same features with S III’s – 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE, improved Samsung software. Galaxy Note 2 could be lighter compared to the original and might follow the lead of S III.
