Google’s Nexus Tablet for $199 Takes on iPad

The seven-inch Nexus could be a big rival to the top-selling Apple device which starts at around £400.

Another machine that only cost $199 is going to take on with the best selling iPad which starts around $499.

The Nexus which only measures 7-inch, much smaller than iPad, could be a good rival to Apple’s tablet. The new machine is said to be equipped with a powerful computer chip and will have the latest version of the Google’s Android OS which has been a great success for the millions of smartphones all over the world.

The price of the 16gb version of the Nexus will $250 in the US, and $199 for the 8gb version.

There are lots of cheaper tablets in the market today including the new Nexus but still the iPad is dominating even having its high price. Apple sold 67million units in just 2 years and Google have failed to surpass this, but Google took on the part in Android phones outselling Apple’s iPhone.

Google, with its partner Asus as the maker of the Nexus is said to make an announcement tonight for the full details at a conference in San Francisco.
