On September 29, Verizon will have another addition in their phone lineup that will hype the consumers. Rumored before and now unveiled, the new HTC Rhyme will hit the market under Verizon Wireless for $199, might be expensive for a phone with just an average specification. Though not clearly mentioned, the phone is built to fill the feminine niche in the market, no hard-edged, black monolith phone that everybody expected. This feminine type aesthetic phone will be offered exclusively on Verizon with a plum colored case, it also features the what so called HTC Charm, led indicator which is also colored in plum – that in the lanyard attached to the phone.
The new HTC Rhyme features WVGA SLCD screen discplay, 3.7” in size, and powered with the same MSM8655 just like what is in Incredible 2. The internal feature really does match with Incredible 2 indeed but the frame is shrunk down to a smaller form. Aside from the plum colored aesthetic, the HTC Rhyme makes its name in the software and packaging. This device will have the first taste of the HTC’s Sense 3.5, a new skin or theme that adds new ways of accessing your contacts, messages, media and emails.
In the packaging, HTC adds more in the box for the Rhyme than any other phone. Consumers will have the pair of tangle free headphones, docking station, and the Charm.
