On Wednesday, it seems that Apple invites are signalling the launching of the newest addition to their line of gadgets, the rumored iPad Mini. Also sparking several investors in pushing the stock of the company higher despite announcement of Microsoft of the cheap price for its Surface tablet.
It was on Tuesday when Apple has sent over media members invitations to an event on October 23, the date rumored to be the launching day of iPad Mini.
The invitation was a mutlicolored graphic showing the topmost portion of the Apple logo along with a tagline saying “We’ve got a little more to show you.” According to critics, the iPad Mini is hidden in the keyword “little” as there are various reports abounded that the company is processing the production of the smaller version of its iPad. The smaller iPad has 7.85-inch screen compared to the current 9.7-inch diagonal measurement.
More reports say that Apple will also be showing off a smaller version of its MacBook Pro with Retina Display, having a 13-inch version compared to its current 15-inch model.
The event is said to be held at the historic downtown California Theatre at San Jose.
If these rumors are true, then Apple will be introducing iPad Mini and could make the new product as a market directly for media offerings in iTunes. This also could be the major competitor to Amazon’s Kindle tablets and Google’s Nexus 7.
