Lenovo is going to release their next laptop in the T-series line. It’s not just an ordinary laptop, it’s an Ultrabook.
The new ultrabook from Lenovo is called the ThinkPad T431s Ultrabook. It’s an another addition of the long line T-series laptops that are the foundations of the office workers that uses Lenovo. T431s is considered an enterprise-class high performance laptop. The chassis is made up of new materials such as magnesium and carbon fiber compared to the previous T-series laptops. ThinkPad T431s Ultrabook supports Intel Core i5 and i7 processors with integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics, just like another laptops. The screen is 14 inches wide with a screen resolution of 1600×900. Supports up to 12GB of memory, hard drive options up to 1TB.
It’s a bit smaller than the predecessor T430s but it weighs the same in 3.6 pounds. It can open flat in your table because it has a 180-degree hinge but it doesn’t flip over just like the yoga designs that can reach the back of the laptop and can turn to a tab-like device. It has both the glass touchpad and the trackpoint. The glass touchpad supports the multi-point gestures of Windows 8 and trackpoint for scrolling.
The ThinkPad T431s is just 20.6 mm thick, and battery life of up to 9 hours. This new ultrabook will be available on April this year and will start with $949.
