Madden NFL 2011 on Wii, Xbox, PS3, iPhone and iPad

The newest edition in the prominent and highly esteemed series of football video game has been launched. Just recently, Madden NFL 11 was opened up to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP, iPhone and iPad.

The series of Madden NFL was actually named after the Professional Football Hall of Famer John Madden. The video game has consistently been a best seller and “even spawned TV shows where players compete.”

There is not much of a difference between the earlier version of the game and the newest edition. Compared to the 20 preceding annual updates of the game, Madden NFL 11’s features include a veer of new multiplayer and single player.

The most notable feature of the new edition is the customizable GameFlow system. This allows the gamer to optionally call plays for his self when he does not have more than one hour to dedicate to a single game. EA Sports explained that in earlier editions of the video game, gamers “would spend most of their playtime off the field, flipping through potential plays and making other menu selections.”

If you’re just new in playing Madden, the GameFlow system of the new edition suits you very well, because of its succinctness and simplicity. But if you already have an experience in playing the game, you can always keep your play on call.

Another feature of Madden NFL 11 is the Online Team Play that consists of three gamers that can challenge another team of three gamers. Each of the gamers is only allowed to play one athlete at a time.
