On Feb. 19, Samsung’s much awaited Galaxy Note will be available in AT&T for $300 with a 2-year contract.
The 4G LTE mobile phone could be pre-ordered online or in the retailers starting Sunday. Delivery will be Feb. 17, according to the company.
The South Korea-based company have been promoting the Galaxy Note as being a new device classification aimed toward the creative-minded set, even though the majority of customers will more than likely find it as a combo of a tablet and smartphone.
The new smartphone features its large 5.3-inch touchscreen – one of the largest in line with other phones – and a stylus.
By using the stylus, which they also call the “S Pen”, the company says, “users can easily sketch drawings, jot down notes, or write emails and texts quickly and easily in free-form handwriting.”
“The Galaxy Note brings a new level of efficiency to busy customers who would normally rely on multiple devices,” according to Jeff Bradley, senior vp of devices for AT&T..
“This new breed of smartphone helps consumers accomplish more with a single device than ever before.” he also added.
In the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the company dedicated a large part of its floor area to featuring off the new Galaxy Note and even hired artists to utilize the smartphone to draw caricatures of the visitors.
