Samsung Announces Galaxy Tab 3 Following Galaxy S4 Release

Samsung will release another competitor for the tablet PCs again. After focusing too much in the Galaxy S4, some people almost didn’t notice the next generation tablet that the South Korea-based company is working on. And now, they announce the latest Galaxy Tab 3 that runs the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS, a 7-inch display and thinner bezels on the sides giving you a much larger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has a powerful 1.2 GHZ dual-core processor, and comes with an option of 8gb and 16gb internal storage models. It also has a memory card slot that supports up to 64gb of memory. It also has a 1.3mp front facing camera and a 3mp rear camera. Another thing that this device boasts is the thinner bezels on the sides compared to the Galaxy Tab 2.

Wifi-only models of the Galaxy Tab 3 will come first on May and the Wifi and 3G models will come in June. No exact date were stated by the manufacturer but it will roll out for sure.

The release of Samsung’s new tablet PC just followed the release of the very popular Galaxy S4 smartphone. The S4 smartphone boasts its larger screen than the S3 having a resolution of 1080×1920, and features an awesome 8-core processor. That is quite powerful already doubling that power of the latest Apple’s iPhone 5. The 13 mp camera of the Galaxy S4 is such a hit for the users who loves taking photos in their travels and everyday life activities. The predecessor Galaxy S3 has cool features in the camera but with the Galaxy S4, loads of stuff are added such as using both the front and rear camera simultaneously while taking pictures.

For the pricing details, Samsung did not mention any and it remains unconfirmed until today. Even the wireless carriers did not announce their prices yet or whether they will also sell the tab. However, AT&T announced that they are accepting orders for the Galaxy S4 starting at $249. Other carriers such as Sprint and Verizon Wireless also committed that they will sell the Galaxy S4.

The majority of tests undertaken in Sweden shows that it is not much bigger difference on S3 and S4, if you are a normal preludeboy’s of smartphones.
