Samsung has finally released their latest Galaxy S4. One of the great features that it has is the front and rear camera which can be used simultaneously.
The South Korea-based company launched the smartphone in an event in Thursday at the Radio City Music Hall in New York. It was broadcasted live in the New York Times Square so people could watch the event.
One of the key features that they focused on is the front and rear facing cameras that Samsung said can be used at the same time. While a user is in a video call, the person that he or she is calling can also see where the caller is looking at. It will remove the hassle of pressing a button to switch to the back camera and then pressing it again to use the front camera. This feature is not present in other devices with front and rear cameras.
Another feature is that it can take two photos at the same time as well as combine the two taken photos in various ways.
According to Samsung, the S4 will be available in 155 countries and 327 operators at the end of April. It will be available in the US in the second quarter with carriers AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Vodafone, Orange and Deutsche Telecom. No details were released regarding shipping and pricing.
The Samsung S4 will come in black and white which Samsung calls Black Mist and White Frost. Other colors will be available, too.
