Samsung has verified the coming of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet PC to UK in August. The tablet was anticipated to hit the stores in July or August this year. It is currently about to happen, according to the reports.
A successor of Galaxy Tab in the previous year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, is projected to make waves in the world tablet markets, controlled by iPad of Apple. The latest Samsung tablet highlights 10.1-inch multi touch WXGA display and latest operating system update of Google, Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
The tablet runs on an NVIDIA 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 rather than the company’s own Exynos application. High-definition video capture, playback ability and Adobe Flash support make the gadget smarter than Apple iPhone for some customers.
Initially, there will be two models for Galaxy Tab 10.1; a Wi-Fi only model and a Wi-Fi and 3G combo model. The previous one features 802.11a/b/g/n multi-mode support and the second one will support 21Mb/s HSPA for high-speed internet experience.
Simon Standford said, “The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the latest example of Samsung’s ongoing innovation in this market and commitment to the Android platform.”
Mr. Simon adds, “Our Galaxy family all features a premium design, excellent screens and are packed with compelling entertainment features. We plan to deliver exciting new user experiences and lead the tablet market in the months and years to come.”
