Samsung Pushed Ice Scream Sandwich Update – Finally!

Samsung appears to have pushed the Ice Scream Sandwich update – finally!

Based on  the latest blog post from the official Samsung Tomorrow blog, the South Korea-based electronics giant has finally started to release their Ice Cream Sandwich update to the Galaxy S II units around the world.

And knowning that, Galaxy S II users started once more to experience the love. Or perhaps, the majority of them does. The update at issue is intended for worldwide spec Galaxy S II units, so wireless carrier users in the U.S. – AT&T/T-Mobile Galaxy S II and Sprint Epic 4G Touch will not be able to join in the fun as of this time.

Apart from getting live in Korea today – the country’s native – users in sweden, Poland, and Hungary will be among the initial countries to enjoy the long-anticipated update through the Kies software manager. If you are Galaxy S II user too, be assured that other markets will follow soon, although Samsung did not give any specific statements about that.

According to their official statement, Samsung in addition has verified that the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy Note, 8.9/10.1-inch Galaxy Tabs, and Galaxy S II LTE will also follow “soon”.

While it’s not sure yet on when all of these updates will strike, count on Samsung to mistakenly publicize it on their own Indonesian website informing people to follow their Twitter account for news updates instead.
