Samsung Will be Releasing Windows RT Tablet

Samsung tablets handling Windows 7 has been a great way of Microsoft to demonstrate its OS. With the upcoming Windows RT, it’s actually Windows 8 but optimised for touchscreens, new tablets will also have the new ARM chips, which iPad is also based.

According to some sources, Samsung will release new tablets running on Windows RT after officially announcing it in October. They will help push Miscrosoft up to take into the market which is dominated by the Cupertino, California-based company. Apple was reported to ship more than half of the whole tablet market last quarter, 58% according to IHS Isuppli Inc. Samsung came second with 11%, a mix of Google’s Android OS and Windows 7, and Amazon with 5.8%.

HP will not hadle the new Windows RT, they confirmed, they will stick to its traditional OS.

The new Windows RT tablet of Samsung is said to be having a Snapdragon processor by Qualcomm.

    I have been waiting for windows 8 but didn’t want to upgrade my system that is a cool alternative since I have wanted a tablet as well.
