PadFone of Asus will make it big in the market.

If you are trying to come up with a marketable brand that will surely make it big to the market, “PadFone” would not be the first name that you’ll think. However, this amazingly peculiar name worked for Asus.

Basically, it is a 5-inch LTE smartphone that becomes a 10.1-inch tablet everytime it’s docked into the included PadFone Infinity Station. It is expected to be released this April for 999 euros.

The smartphone/tablet does not look far from the iPhone 5, except that it’s longer and wider. It has resilient metal encasing and is light in the hands. It runs with Android 4.2 and a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with an Adreno 320 GPU. It also has the Super IPS 5-inch screen packs in 1920 x 1080 pixels, which delivers 441 ppi.
