Tesla’s Electric Car Model S is out in the Market

The fledgling car company, Tesla, has released their first electric sedans in the mass-market, but this is not sure if this will make the company successful or not.

In their weekend ceremony, the ten units of the so called Model S of the company rolled out in their factory doors in Fremont. The impressions of the audience seems so alive as they see the cars running.

Audience estimated to reach more than a thousand, local politicians, and Tesla employees and their relatives roared for the speakers that included Governor Jerry Brown of California. They all got fired up when the cars left the factory for the first time.

More than 10,000 interested buyers put down a refundable deposit for the Model S, according to the car company. They are expecting to market 5,000 units this year alone.

“This is another example of California on the move,” According to Governor Jerry Brown in his speech.

The first batch of released sedans went straight away to their buyers in Chicago and Palo Alto.

“Arguably, it may be the most beautiful sedan in the marketplace,” according to Tesla Vice President George Blankenship.

The sedans can run up to 257 kilometers in one complete charging, and sells up to $49,900 after US tax credit.

The base model, which sells for US$49,900 (NZ$63,300) after a US tax credit, can go 257 kilometers on one charge.

  1. I just hope that this model will be able to reach more car owners. I like the idea that this is a more eco-friendly alternative to cars powered by internal combustion engines.
